The Science Guy is coming to Oklahoma City. Science Museum Oklahoma will host a series of events with Bill Nye and The Planetary Society on May 8-9 including a recording of Planetary Radio Live, a VIP evening experience and numerous family activities to benefit the museum’s recently launched planetarium campaign and to promote astronomy education.
Butterflies, lady bugs, waste recycling and sustainability will round out the world of Science Museum Oklahoma from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 20 as the museum celebrates Earth Day with a morning and afternoon of special events.
The science that brings the storm will be the focus of a special day at Science Museum Oklahoma this spring as the museum teams with FOX 25 to present “Storm Safety Day” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 6 at the museum located at 2020 Remington Place in Oklahoma City.
Guests will experience an after-hours circus complete with feats of danger and delight during Science Museum Oklahoma’s “SMO 21: Cirque Nocturne” from 6:30-10 p.m. on Friday, April 26, an adults-only (21+) night at the museum located at 2020 Remington Place in Oklahoma City. “SMO 21: Cirque Nocturne” is presented by Express Employment Professionals International.
Visitors to Science Museum Oklahoma will have extra time for science exploration, plus tours of the museum’s 1929 Pullman parlor car and additional Science Live and Kirkpatrick Planetarium showtimes from March 18-24 at the museum located at 2020 Remington Place in Oklahoma City.
Science Museum Oklahoma's smART Space is taking visitors on a whimsical tour of mechanical creations from 1850 to modern day in “Life Imagined – The Art and Science of Automata." From the Greek word automatos, meaning “moves on its own,” automata are the first complex machines produced by man.

Oklahoma families can animate, automate, build, break and create from 6-10 p.m. on Feb. 8 at Science Museum Oklahoma during the latest Late Nite Lab, “Tinker ‘Bout It” presented by Express Employment Professionals International.
