Temperatures: When you arrive at drop-off each morning, our safety and security team will check the temperature of each camper using a noninvasive forehead thermometer. If a camper registers a temperature above 100.4 degrees they will not be allowed into the museum. All SMO staff will also go through this process each morning.

Virtual Camps

Science of Magic – A SMO Virtual Camp Experience

Science sometimes can seem pretty magical. In this brand new camp experience, we will virtually explore some of the sneakier sides of science from wherever you may be. With a little sleight of hand and a whole lot of knowledge, we’ll experiment with illusions and misdirection. Our Explorers will seek out the charms of chemistry and investigate wondrous potions while the Innovators will discover the magic of pressure and polymers in Prestidigitation Education. Is it magic, or is science magical?
